PTA Board Nominees for 2026-2027
Sterling Park Elementary School PTA board has met, discussed and made nominations the following be elected for the 2026-2027 school year.
2026-2027 Nominations
President - Joseph Sheppard
Vice President - Sharyn Battey
Nomination from the floor may be made per the Sterling Park Elementary School PTA bylaws.
Those wishing to nominate from the floor, either themselves or another PTA member, are asked to email hello@sterlingparkpta.org at least three days prior to the meeting with their intent to nominate. No additional nominations will be accepted on the day of elections.
Only those who are current 2025-2026 school year PTA members may be nominated.

The following Committee Positions are open for the 2026-2027 school year.
Grants Chair
Helps identify grant sources, applies for grants to help support the School and PTA. Also is responsible for reviewing and leading the teacher grants review and approval.
Admin/Operations Chair
Helps with the administration and operations of the PTA. Including ordering needed supplies, ensuring purchases are made for the correct program and events, assisting with the different rewards program needs/supplies requests and organization/inventory of the PTA supplies/storage rooms.
Hospitality Chair
Helps organize special events for the teachers and staff, including monthly staff birthdays, appreciation days/weeks and other special teacher and staff recognitions planned throughout the year.
Spirit Chair
Helps coordinate fundraisers with local businesses "Spirit Nights", creates flyers for events, coordinates special needs of the events (PTA members, Eagle, etc) to be present and ensures follow-up with business to receive donations for the PTA.
Events Chair
Helps coordinate all PTA events throughout the year. Responsible for working with each individual event chair to ensure the success of the event.
ESE Co-Chair
Helps coordinate ESE events and activities with the ESE Chair.
In addition to the open chair positions above, each position also has a co-chair that helps with the duties.
